At the Vacationland Swim Club, experienced and committed coaches push each and every swimmer to achieve their personal best.

Mike Wohl Head Coach
 

Mike Wohl has been the head coach at VSC since 1996, and from 1988-1992. He was chosen Lake Erie Age Group Coach-of-the-Year in 2003. He also was a Lake Erie Zone Head Coach in 2000 and a Zone Assistant Coach in 1997 and 2005. He is a full-time health and physical education teacher for Sandusky City Schools. He served as the Sandusky High School swimming coach from 1985-1988 and 1994-1999. He also spent 10 summers at Plum Brook country club as pool manager and swim coach.

Coach Wohl started his professional coaching career as the Head Men's Swimming Coach at the University of Toledo from 1980-1985. He was an all MAC swimmer and two-time captain of three MAC Champ teams at Kent State University. The Toledo native was also an all-state swimmer and and 10-time Northwest Sistrict Cahmpion at Toledo St. Francis De Sales high School. He is married to VSC Coach Linda Wohl, and has 3 children, Daniel, Adam, and Jess; all swimmers at Eastern Michigan University.
